With the whole of E3 pretty much already leaked, we predict what surprises developers might still have left for us. 3 predictions each, including at least one we’d genuinely love to happen. Let’s look back afterwards and see how close we came.

Half-Life 3
For obvious trolling reasons and the fact that if it doesn’t get announced in a year where it starts on June 12th. If we assume June = Six. 6 – 1 – 2 = 3 = Half-Life 3 confirmed.

I agree that Half Life 3 will be announced because:
1. It hasn’t been leaked, which clearly means it’s coming out.
2. It’s 2018. 8 / 2 = 4. 4 – 1 = 3 and
3. Half-Life 3 Confirmed

Farming Simulator
Farming simulator has been around for a while now and been relaunched on new platforms. It’s due an upgrade though by modern standards. I’m not sure what they will add other than more cows but it needs to be amalgamated with a Need for Speed Underground reboot and allow you to modify your tractor!

SOLO: A Lego Star Wars Game
I predict this will be announced. We’ll soon learn it will have gone through development hell and release to little fan-fare. It’ll be the exact same as every other Lego Star Wars game though, except that it will be 1 player only.

Crackdown 3 2018 release date
I’ve had my XBox One for a while now, but it’s been a while since I last turned it on. In fact, I think I last used it in 2016 when I was able to get Dark Souls 3 early. There hasn’t really been any game that’s made me glad to own an XBox One, but I’ve been waiting for Crackdown 3. I hope that this year, they reveal a 2018 release day and I can finally… oh. Looks like Crackdown has been delayed until 2019. Oh well, I guess it can collect dust a little longer.

Two Point Hospital
The successor to Theme Hospital and made by some of the same people who made Theme Hospital. Really hoping it goes as well as some of the development I have seen. Has been picked up by Sega and I am hoping they have a big launch and it does well.

HD N64 / GameCube Games
Something I’d genuinely jump for joy at would be a stream of HD N64 and / or GameCube games announced for Nintendo Switch. I’m not fussed about a new “mini” console as portability is a big selling point for me. As for a ‘prediction’ (that I’d love, but likely won’t happen):
N64 – F-Zero X HD
GameCube – Soul Calibur 2 HD

Why not? It’s something that would be more believable than Half-Life 3 being revealed at this point…
… Sorry. Half-Life 3 is still a game I’m salty about.
